SUTL Enterprise has announced that it’s currently developing ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in collaboration with the Numchai Group, which owns Numchai Ocean Transport Company and is supported by the Ministry of Industry (Thailand).
SUTL Enterprise is the owner and developer of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, which opened in 2007 and hosts the ICOMIA Boating Industry Conference, YACHT STYLE Awards and Singapore Yachting Festival later this month.
Last year, SUTL Enterprise launched ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island – situated in Indonesia but just 8nm south of Singapore – and said it expects the upcoming ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket to be welcoming yachts up to 120ft by the fourth quarter of this year.
The marina is in Cape Panwa, a headland peninsula on Phuket’s southeast coast, which offers access to Phang Nga Bay to the north, Phi Phi islands to the east and Racha islands to the south. ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket is expected to include “upscale dining options and recreational club facilities, ensuring an exceptional experience for marina guests”, according to SUTL Enterprise.
Arthur Tay, CEO and Executive Director of SUTL Enterprise (Leader, Issue 76), said: “Harnessing the established ONE°15 brand, we are excited to add another marina to our global network. ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket is committed to delivering the best-in-class marina standards and experience that our esteemed ONE°15 members and boaters worldwide can expect. We look forward to welcoming ONE°15 members, new and existing, to this exciting new marina location.”
Phuket’s existing marinas include Phuket Boat Lagoon and Royal Phuket Marina in the middle of the east coast and two megayacht-friendly marinas, Ao Po Grand Marina in the northeast and Phuket Yacht Haven in the far north.
