Espen Øino designed the exterior of the Amels 60

Damen Yachting has announced the sale of a new Amels 60, which is scheduled for delivery in 2024 and is the fifth hull in the 60m Amels Limited Editions series. The 830GT model features an exterior design by Espen Øino and a technical platform by Damen Yachting.

The Amels 60’s features include a large sun deck and swim platform, a folding owner’s suite balcony and provision for a 9m tender to be stowed on the foredeck. The fifth hull will feature custom interiors by a designer selected by the owner, who is a new Amels client.

Jorrit Pilaar, Damen Yachting’s Sales Manager, said: “The fact that the client is stepping into the build process relatively early means we have been able to maximise the flexibility of the Limited Editions design platform, allowing for a number of client customisations while still offering delivery in under three years, which is considered fast in current market customisations while still offering delivery in under three years, which is considered fast in current market conditions.”
