The Monaco Yacht Show’s programme of conferences and round-table discussions will address key themes shaping the future of the yachting industry.
The Monaco Yacht Show (September 24-27) has unveiled its programme of conferences and round-table discussions addressing themes shaping the future of the yachting industry, which have all been brought together under the Monaco Yacht Summit banner.
The Monaco Yacht Summit is conceived as an open space for dialogue, designed to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience among participants. It brings together industry experts, engineers, designers, yacht owners and buyers, along with their representatives, for a series of conferences, panel discussions and thematic sessions, with the aim of shedding light on market trends and anticipating future developments.
Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show, said: “The Monaco Yacht Summit aims to play a leading role in shaping the future of the yachting industry by building bridges between client expectations, industry challenges, and broader societal topics linked to yachting such as technological innovation in service of environmental sustainability. Our objective is to bring together all stakeholders in yachting to engage in a collective reflection on the future of our sector.”
The show’s opening conference will be held from 10.30-11.30am on the opening day, September 24 (Wednesday). This opening session will set the tone for the show’s discussions, with a particular focus on sustainability in yachting. Leading experts will share insights into ongoing initiatives, environmental challenges, and practical prospects for a more responsible future.
On the same day, there will also be a film screening of Ocean with David Attenborough in the presence of Toby Nowlan, the film’s director. The documentary explores the beauty, diversity and fragility of the oceans, aiming to raise awareness of the need for their preservation.
There will also be thematic events throughout the four-day Monaco Yacht Show. The programme will include panel discussions on topics such as design innovation and environmental sustainability in yachting, organised in partnership with the specialist media outlet SuperYacht Times.
Monaco Yacht Summit conferences will take place in the MYS Conference Hall, located at virage Louis Chiron on Port Hercule, and sponsored by Isoclima. The specific themes of the Monaco Yacht Summit will be officially announced in August.
