Maritimo to debut S50 in 2026

Described by the Australian builder as “ideally suited for cruising in Southeast Asia’s tropical waters”, the S50 will premiere in May.
Maritimo has announced that it will stage the world premiere of its S50 at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, which will be held from May 21-24. Distinguished by a sleek, automotive-inspired silhouette, the S50 will be the new entry model for the S-Series of sedan motoryachts, which includes the S55, S60 and S75.
The S50 is scheduled to be unveiled a year after the M50 (click for Review, Issue 85), which quickly earned acclaim after debuting at the Sanctuary Cove show in 2025.
However, the Australian shipyard stresses that the S50 cruiser is “not simply a variation of the celebrated M50” but “is a ground-up reimagining of the classic Maritimo sport yacht DNA”, while incorporating new design elements inspired by the success of the M50 and S55.
Neil McCabe, Maritimo’s Design Manager, said: “We wanted the S50 to be more than just the M50’s smaller sibling. It’s a purpose-built sports motoryacht that’s spacious, sleek and entirely focused on the owner’s experience.
“With the S55 generation proving to be a landmark success for the brand, we saw an opportunity to take that design language even further by refining the profile, enhancing usability and delivering a vessel that feels every bit as progressive and luxurious but in a more compact footprint.”
The S50 starts aft with a hydraulic swim platform, while the aft cockpit includes a curved sofa facing forward to a trapezoid table and the yacht’s interior. Inside, the aft galley has 2.4m of headroom, while two steps lead up to the 2m-high saloon, which has a C-shaped dinette to port, opposite a sofa and twin-seat helm station to starboard.
Forward stairs lead to the lower deck, which has 1.94m of headroom. The ample ceiling height adds to the feeling of space in the full-beam owner’s cabin with en-suite bathroom midships, and the forward guest cabin, which has an angled bed as well as en-suite access to a bathroom that also acts as the day head.
“It’s the perfect package,” McCabe added. “Large enough to offer real luxury and range, but still manageable for an owner-operator. With the S50, we’ve distilled everything that makes the S-Series special into its purest form.”
