As it celebrates its 40th anniversary, Galeon will stage the world premiere of its flagship 800 Fly and the US debut of its 375 GTO as part of its largest display to date at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which will be held from October 26-30.
Hosted by the builder’s US dealer MarineMax, the eight-strong Galeon display will also include the 425 HTS, 470 Sky, 500 Fly, 640 Fly and 680 FLY.

Bob Burke, Galeon Brand Manager, said: “While Galeon celebrates 40 years of tradition in old-world European craftsmanship and new-world innovative technologies, we could not be more excited to meet our existing clients and introduce the brand to new ones at our seventh consecutive Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
“This year’s display will be Galeon’s largest to date, exhibiting models from our all-new ‘fun machine’, the 375 GTO, and our stunning four-stateroom 680 Fly up to our all-new flagship 800 Fly.”

With an overall length of 83ft 5in (25.35m) and a beam of 19ft (5.8m), the 800 Fly is another Galeon design by UK-based Tony Castro and features a sporty silhouette and immense space in the interior, which incudes soft lines, rounded structural elements and spectacular lighting.
On the main deck, the cockpit has a U-shaped seating area and a long table, while the interior starts with an L-shaped bar and a saloon with seating on both sides. Forward is the dining area to port and galley to starboard, as well as the helm station to starboard.

The lower deck includes four en-suite guest cabins comprising a full-beam master suite midships, two twins and a VIP in the bow, while the crew quarters are aft, by the swim platform. The enormous flybridge features a full-beam lounging and dining area aft, outdoor galley and wet bar, further seating forward and a full-width sunbathing area ahead of the twin-seat helm to starboard.
The 375 GTO is making its US after earlier showings at the Polboat Yachting Festival in Poland in July and the Cannes Yachting Festival in France in September. Also designed by Castro, the 375 GTO is the big sister of the 325 GTO, which launched the Grand Touring Outboards line when it was unveiled in Florida in early 2021 before the first hull in Asia arrived in Hong Kong through Asiamarine.

Engine options include twin 600hp Mercury Verado outboards that power the 375 GTO close to 50 knots. At rest, long fold-down sides both port and starboard create Galeon’s iconic ‘Beach Mode’ popularised by the 500 Fly, while social areas also include a massive bow lounge.
Also at FLIBS, Pearl Yachts is staging the world premiere of the Pearl 72, along with a Pearl 80 and Pearl 62. The American market is increasingly important for the British brand, with the recent addition of Jeff Brown Yachts joining Atlantic Yacht & Ship as Pearl’s US dealers.
Following sea trials, hull one of the Pearl 72 headed to Florida, where she has already been cruising around the ‘sunshine state’. The latest edition of Bill Dixon’s coordinated exterior design and naval architecture is well-matched by the celebrated new interior design theme, ‘Indulgence’, by Kelly Hoppen CBE.
Features include two master cabins (forward and midships) among four en-suite guest cabins, and a crew cabin, plus a garage large enough for a tender like a Williams Sportjet 345 and a jet ski.
