Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 debuts in Hong Kong
Asia Yachting hosted the Hong Kong premiere of the French builder’s Tanna 47, taking guests on a scenic sunset cruise.
Asia Yachting organised the Hong Kong debut of Fountaine Pajot’s new Tanna 47 sailing catamaran, inviting VIP guests aboard for a scenic cruise from Aberdeen. The regional dealer was appointed the Hong Kong representative for Fountaine Pajot’s sailing catamarans at the beginning of the year, having already had the La Rochelle builder’s motor yachts within its portfolio.
The 14m Tanna 47 has a beam of 7.7m and is an upgrade of the Saona 47, boasting an enlarged flybridge that’s twice the size of its predecessor’s upper deck. During the cruise in Hong Kong, guests particularly appreciated this enlarged social area, especially with a glass of champagne in hand and with the sun setting.
The guests’ other favourite area was the innovative galley and saloon area, which features over 1,400 litres of storage space. An aft window can be opened to link to the cockpit, which has a portside dining table and seating on three sides, an aft sofa and a day bed to starboard.
Asia Yachting plans to display the brand-new sailing catamaran at both the Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show in Discovery Bay from November 3-5 and the Hong Kong International Boat Show at Club Marina Cove in Sai Kung from November 30-December 3.
