Based in Thailand, the Asia dealer for Germany’s YYachts has added Italy’s Grand Soleil to its portfolio of fast, luxurious sailing monohulls.

FLS Yachts (Fast Luxurious Stylish Yachts) has been appointed as the distributor for Italy’s Grand Soleil Yachts in Thailand, with permission to sell in Malaysia and Singapore. FLS Yachts is also the Asia dealer for German builder YYachts, which builds premium carbon sailing yachts.

“Our appointment by Grand Soleil enables us to sell, in combination with YYachts, premium performance yachts from 34-105ft,” the dealership stated.

Grand Soleil’s ranges include the Performance line (34-80ft) focused on short-handed sailing, with models also available in a Race version laid out and equipped for inshore and offshore racing.

FLS Yachts believes mid-sized models like the new GS 44 – victorious in Class B at August’s ORC World Championship in Estonia – and GS 48 will be the range’s most popular models in Southeast Asia.

Grand Soleil’s Long Cruise (LC) line is focused on offshore cruising and features the 42LC, 46LC and 52LC, as well as the upcoming 72LC.

LC models are available in Sport (no Targa Bar) or Full Cruise (with Targa Bar) versions, and are very comfortable and functional above and below decks.
