The Experiential Yachting Forum is in Dubai from March 2-3

The second Experiential Yachting Forum will be held in Dubai from March 2-3 in partnership with the 2023 Dubai International Boat Show (March 1-5). The first edition was a one-day event held in Monaco and streamed online on April 21, 2022.

Sunreef Yachts, which is developing a shipyard in the UAE, and Oceanco are among sponsors of the second Experiential Yachting Forum, which is focused on ‘Elevating Human Potential through Yachting’.

Sunreef Yachts stated: “Questing for a more environmentally responsible cruising experience, Sunreef marked a new chapter in yachting history by developing a new range of luxury Eco catamarans for a more sustainable, environmentally responsible and healthy yachting experience.”

The first Experiential Yachting Forum in April 2022

Topics to be discussed at the two-day Experiential Yachting Forum include multifunctional superyachts, holistic yachting, preventive health care and yachting, experience economy and yachting, and investment opportunities in commercial use of superyachts. 

Maria Alekseenko Magan, the founder of Experiential Yachting, said: “This forum was created with a mission to elevate human potential through yachting and to change the perception of yachting by identifying a new niche for multifunctional superyachts.”

 Based in Monaco, Magan has over 13 years of experience in retail yacht charters and yacht project management, and specialises in providing high-net-worth individuals with extraordinary experiences aboard yachts.

Monaco Yacht Club hosted the first Experiential Yachting Forum

Three years ago, when a person close to her was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease, Magan started to explore how a yacht can be used as a place to conduct therapies. From there, she started to see how the function – and perception – of a yacht could change.

The second Experiential Yachting Forum is targeted at the yachting industry, yacht owners, luxury brands, hotel chains, holistic retreats, medical centres, government authorities and asset-management companies.

Organisers will soon announce the first confirmed speakers and a provisional programme, as well as further sponsors and supporting partners.
