The world debut of the first wallywind110 at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 this week marks Italian Wally brand’s 30th anniversary and introduces the wallywind performance cruiser range.
Crowds applauded the launch of the sailing boat, which is christened Galma
The wallywind110, which first launched in June, boasts a sleek, modern exterior designed by reputed German racing sailing-boat designer studio judel/vrolijk & co. The semi-custom sail model boasts an all-carbon hull with a striking metallic blue paint and is complemented by a 6.95m telescopic keel, carbon fibre twin rudders, and 48m Hall Spars rig.
The cruiser’s design features a unique deck layout and large cockpit
The 33.42m wallywind110’d deck also impresses with an 80 sqm cockpit that’s free of technical equipment – made to rival 60m sailing superyachts. Another feature is a unique overall deck layout, developed by Wally’s internal design team in collaboration with Italian Santa Maria Magnolfi yacht design studio. Below deck, more clever space planning allows for an open, light-filled interior.
The project, initiated in 2022, is a real milestone, being the first sailing boat launch since Wally became a member of Italy’s Ferretti Group family. Already, the second wallywind110 was already under construction when the first hull was readied for show in Monaco and the range will also grow to feature the wallywind130 and wallywind150.

“The launch of this first semi-custom sail model since Wally became part of Ferretti Group in 2019 is a very significant moment for us,” said Stefano de Vivo, Wally Managing Director.
“Not only does it coincide with the brand’s 30th anniversary, but it also once again confirms how relevant the sailing superyacht sector is for Wally.”
