The eighth Amels 60 motoryacht has officially been delivered to her owner and named Alva. She will be available to charter with Christie Yachts during her first season in the Mediterranean.

Christie stated that Alva’s charter itinerary this summer will include France, Italy, Spain’s Balearic Islands and Greece, before she heads to the Caribbean for winter.

Jorrit Pilaar, Commercial Executive EMEA at Damen Yachting, added: “Parting with a yacht is always a poignant moment for our team, but we are very happy to see Alva commence this first chapter with her owner.”

Designed by Espen Øino, Alva has an overall length of 60m and 853GT of interior volume. She can reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and offers an extended cruising range of 4,500nm.

Although Alva was purchased by her owner in late 2025, just a few months ahead of her scheduled delivery, Harrison Eidsgaard’s interior design team were able to incorporate unique customisations to increase her charter appeal.

Alva features classically styled interiors finished with bleached Douglas fir flooring, walnut wood and Calcutta stone details paired with nautical-inspired white and navy upholstery. The yacht’s other highlights include a spacious sundeck with an outdoor cinema, a semi-enclosed gym and a jacuzzi, as well as an expansive beach club with a dedicated wellness and entertainment space.

Six cabins can host up to 12 guests, with the owner’s suite located on the main deck and offering a private fold-down balcony. There are also quarters for 13 crew.

There are currently two more Amels 60 units under construction, due for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
