CRN has released photos of its 52m all-aluminium build under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, where the hull was positioned in early March. After the structural work and pre-fitting is completed throughout, the interior carpentry will begin, engines will be installed and the exterior painting will be prepared.

“The new yacht’s distinctive taut, harmonious and extremely elegant lines are beginning to emerge,” the shipyard stated.

Project M/Y 142 is a fully custom design by the CRN Technical Office in partnership with Omega Architects for the concept and exterior lines. The four-deck yacht has a 9m beam, streamlined profile and near-vertical bow, and features full-height windows. The shipyard worked with Massari Design for the interiors, which include a master suite and four VIP cabins for 10 guests.

“The overall design creates a striking interplay between the majestic external areas and the palatial interiors,” CRN stated. “This exquisite equilibrium lends visual continuity to the indoor/outdoor experience.”

Aluminium is used for the hull and superstructure, and other light materials are included to reduce weight, while CRN engineers have focused on fuel efficiency by honing the hull and appendages to reduce drag.

CRN is currently building another three bespoke yachts measuring 62m (M/Y 138), 72m (M/Y 139) and 60m (M/Y 141).
