This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival is already shaping up to be another cracking show for world premieres, with Groupe Beneteau brands lining up a wide array of debutants, and catamarans again in the spotlight.

The Beneteau brand alone could stage upwards of six world premieres at the 48th Cannes Yachting Festival, which will be held across the Vieux Port and Port Canto sites from September 9-14.
The French builder’s line-up of global debuts includes its new-generation Gran Turismo 35 and 40 (Alpine version), the first two models from its refreshed line of ‘crossover express cruisers’.
Beneteau’s other new motoryachts will be the Swift Trawler 37, shown in its Sedan and Fly versions, and the Grand Trawler 63. The Swift Trawler 41 and 54 will round out the brand’s motoryacht display at Vieux Port.

In Port Canto, the shipyard will debut the Oceanis 47 and 52 sailing yachts, the first two models from the eighth generation of Oceanis cruisers, and will also show the Oceanis 40.1, Oceanis Yacht 60, First 36 and First 53. Also in Port Canto, Beneteau’s dayboat display will include the Antares 9 (new), 11 Fly and 12, Flyer 9 Sundeck and Flyer 10.
Among other Groupe Beneteau brands, Jeanneau will stage the world premiere of the Sun Odyssey 415 sailing yacht, while its motorboat display will include new Cap Camarat and Merry Fisher models.
Prestige will host the global debut of its M7 multihull motoryacht, which will be shown with the M48, while the M8 – the 65ft flagship of the M-Line – will be available to view outside the show. The brand also expects to show all three models from its refreshed F-Line of flybridge monohull motoryachts, from the F4.3 that debuted at Boot Dusseldorf in January to the F4.9 and F5.7.
Lagoon Eighty 2 in build
Lagoon will have one of the show’s most high-profile debuts as it stages the world premiere of its flagship Eighty 2 sailing catamaran, which succeeds the hugely popular Seventy 7 that debuted at the show in 2016.
The Eighty 2 could be among eight Lagoon catamarans in Port Canto, including the new entry-model Lagoon 38, which had its world premiere at April’s International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte. Lagoon’s other models in Port Canto comprise the 43, 46 Iconic, 51 Iconic, 55, 60 and Sixty 5.
Sister brand Excess will show its 11 Hybrid, 13 and 14 models, with the middle model also fresh from her world premiere at La Grande Motte in April.
Fountaine Pajot Power 80
Among other French brands, Fountaine Pajot world premieres will include the Power 80, based on the same hull as the Thira 80 sail cat, as well as the ‘New 41’ and ‘New 44’ sailing catamarans.
Sister brand Dufour is set to debut the Dufour 54 sailing monohull, while its newest models will also include the Dufour 48, which had its world premiere at this year’s Palma International Boat Show.
Catamarans will again have a strong presence at the Cannes show. As well as the Lagoon, Prestige and Fountaine world premieres, other powercats making their global debut include Aquila’s 46 Yacht and the Omaya 50, the brand’s first model, while Sunreef plans to stage the Europe debut of its Ultima 55.

Ferretti Group is set to again have another big display including the world premiere of the Ferretti Yachts 800, while its 2025 models include the Ferretti Yachts 940 and Pershing GTX70 that debuted at this year’s Venice Boat Show.
Riva world premieres at the show could include the 58’ Capri, which was revealed alongside the Iseo Super (27ft), Aquariva Special (33ft) and Cento (38ft) at the Riva Private World Premiere in the brand’s historic Sarnico shipyard.
Arcadia is set to premiere its A80new alongside the A96new, Sherpa 60 and Sherpa 80, while other global debuts include VanDutch’s flagship 75, Invictus’s flagship sisterships ST550 and TT550, and Apreamare’s Gozzo 48 Cabin. Sialia Yachts will host the world premiere of the Sialia 45, a fully-electric boat with a top speed of 43 knots and “the largest range in its class”, according to the brand.
Van der Valk 35m Lalabe
Dutch shipyard Van der Valk will premiere its 35m Lalabe and British builder Pearl Yachts is set to show its new 63 that debuted at Palma this year, alongside the 72 and 82 flybridge motoryachts. Turkish shipyard Sirena will premiere its new 60 and Spain’s Maxim Yachts will stage the Cannes debut of the Max 43 Comfort.
Kingship Marine, with its headquarters in Hong Kong and shipyard in Guangdong, will have a booth inside the Palais, where it will promote an in-build 45m monohull motoryacht designed by Axis Group Yacht Design.
The shipyard will also present two new aluminium concepts, an 88ft monohull and the KingCat 90 ‘super-mini cat’, both by designer Iñigo Toledo and the Barracuda Yacht Design team.
