The historic brokerage house has appointed a new Global Marketing Director and Global Head of Charter Management.
Callum Peden, Group Marketing Director
Camper & Nicholsons has announced a series of senior appointments including Callum Peden as Group Marketing Director and Julie Bichon as Global Head of Charter Management.
Peden began his career in new product ideas and development at Dyson in the UK. He then moved into yachting and spent 15 years building and leading the marketing team at Y.Co in Monaco, developing his knowledge of brand culture and the design of client experiences such as websites, digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
“I’m extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to work with a brand as rich in heritage as Camper & Nicholsons. I look forward to sharing a fresh perspective with the team as we work to develop and grow that brand in markets around the world,” Peden said.
“My background and experience have led me to take a client-centric approach to building brands and implementing marketing strategies. By looking at the client experience and how we can use modern marketing and brand techniques to enhance that journey, we’re able to design interactions with clients that add real value and build brand equity.”
Paolo Casani, Group CEO of Camper & Nicholsons, said: “Callum has an impressive and proven track record in the industry. With his motivation to contribute to the company’s growth, I have total confidence he’ll be a strong leader and an important asset for the future of Camper & Nicholsons.”
Julie Bichon, Global Head of Charter Management
Bichon brings 14 years of charter management experience to her role as Global Head of Charter Management and is based in the company’s Monaco office. She spent 11 years as a charter manager with Yachtzoo, followed by three years at Hill Robinson, leading to the role of Head of Charter Management before joining Camper & Nicholsons in September.
“I’m delighted to join a company with such a strong brand and heritage,” says Bichon. “The team is incredibly strong and I look forward to fostering collaboration and generating new ideas to enhance the success of the company’s charter fleet.”
Casani added: “Julie shares our commitment to deliver the highest quality of service to both current and future clients. She has great enthusiasm and I’m confident she’ll be instrumental in the continued development and growth of the Camper & Nicholsons charter fleet.”
Camper & Nicholsons has 12 offices across the world and is a leader in the sale, purchase, charter, marketing, construction, crew services, new build, yacht management, project management and insurance of superyachts.
