Beneteau First 36

The Asia-Pacific debut of the First 36 sailing boat is among highlights of this year’s Boating Rendezvous-Sydney at Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour from May 5-6.

Jointly presented by dealers Chapman Marine Group, Flagstaff Marine and TMG Yachts, the private event features Beneteau motor and sailing boats along with Lagoon and Excess sailing catamarans.

The show returns to Cockle Bay Marina

The First 36 is among three Beneteau sailing boats on display and was one of the French builder’s three new sailing yachts that premiered at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, along with the First 44 and flagship Oceanis Yacht 60.

Lagoon 42

A Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 and Oceanis 40.1 will also be on display at Cockle Bay Marina, along with six Beneteau motor boats: Antares 8 Fishing, Antares 9, Antares 11, Flyer 8 Sundeck, Flyer 9 Spacedeck and Gran Turismo 32. A Lagoon 42 and an Excess 12 will also be on display.

The first edition of the Boating Rendezvous-Sydney was held in 2020 and has since “received positive feedback among our dealers and customers in the region for bringing a more intimate boat show experience”, according to the brands’ Asia-Pacific office.
