The French sailing catamaran brand has announced a collaboration with Fairview Yachting, a newly formed dealership.
Bali Catamarans has appointed Fairview Yachting, led by Richard Allen and Andy Byham, as its official dealer in Thailand and Hong Kong.
Bali’s portfolio of sailing catamarans from 38-58ft starts from the Catsmart and Catspace models, and includes the 4.2, 4.4, 4.6 and 4.8. The French brand’s 50ft-plus models include the 5.4 and flagship 5.8 – a world premiere at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival – while the 5.2 is among upcoming models.
Founded in 2014 by Catana Group, Bali quickly established itself as a major player in the sailing catamaran market due to its lifting, garage-style ‘Bali door’ and Open Space design concept, while other popular features include a solid foredeck, forward door, opening side windows and oversize fridge-freezers.
Boris Compagnon, Bali’s Sales Director, said: “Having Fairview Yachting as the official distributor for Thailand and Hong Kong is a key asset for sales and charter development in the region, as their expertise, know-how and taste for excellence reflect the Bali Catamarans DNA and core values.”
Headquartered in Phuket, Fairview Yachting states that it “offers a full suite of services including yacht sales, luxury yacht charter, charter management and ownership programmes”. Allen, formerly COO of Simpson Marine, and Byham both have decades of experience in the yachting industry.
Allen, Director of Fairview Yachting, said: “We are thrilled to bring Bali Catamarans to sailors in Thailand and Hong Kong. We have an abundance of incredible cruising areas perfect for catamaran sailing here in Southeast Asia and are proud to become official dealers for Bali, a brand whose innovative style aligns with our own.”
Fairview Yachting is partnered with UK-based Fairview Sailing, a leading yacht charter business located in Hamble.
