The Italian shipyard premiered the all-new Grande 30M at the Cannes Yachting Festival along with the Fly 82, a surprise addition to the six-day show.
At this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, Azimut debuted the Grande 30M, the first all-new model by the shipyard to feature an m2atelier interior. The Milan studio’s work for Azimut’s superyachts, focusing on ‘barefoot luxury’, was also seen in Vieux Port on the 30th hull of the Grande Trideck and 23rd unit of the Grande 36M, both part of Azimut’s fleet at the six-day show.
Featuring exterior design by Alberto Mancini, the Grande 30M can accommodate up to 10 guests and five crew. Features include a full-walkaround ‘infinity skydeck’, and a Deck2Deck terrace on the aft main deck, while full-height windows offer panoramic vistas from the main saloon.
The Grande 30M is Azimut’s first to feature Rolls-Royce’s new mtu propulsion system equipped with mtu engines and POD solutions, which combine to deliver a 15 per cent increase in efficiency compared to traditional shaft-line systems, according to the shipyard.

Completing the lineup of Azimut Grande superyachts with m2atelier interiors were newly redesigned Grande 36M and Trideck (38m) models, which featured upgrades and design changes along with the new interior schemes notable for feature walls at the forward end of the main saloon.
The Fly 82, which was only announced close to the start of the show, also features an Alberto Mancini exterior along with interiors by Fabio Fantolino, in the designer’s third project for the Fly series. The new flagship of Azimut’s flybridge series, the Fly 82 can reach a top speed of 32 knots.

The Fly 82 is also the first yacht in the Fly range to include the Deck2Deck system, which allows the transom door to fold up to a horizontal position and extend the aft cockpit on the main deck. The Deck2Deck feature was first developed by Azimut for the Grande 26M.
Interiors by Fantolino are finished in a contemporary colour scheme of earthy orange and brown hues. Four cabins provide accommodation for eight guests, with the main entertaining space on board focuses on the large circular dining table in the main saloon. There are also two crew cabins on board.
