Azimut reveals m2atelier interior

The first photos of an m2atelier-designed interior on an Azimut are of a new Grande Trideck, which will exhibit at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

Azimut has revealed photos of a new hull of its Grande Trideck series featuring interior design by m2atelier, co-founded and headed by Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli. The Milan-based studio has succeeded Achille Salvagni as the interior designer for the Italian builder’s Grande superyachts.

The new Trideck will be shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 9-14) along with two other superyachts featuring m2atelier interiors: a Grande 36M and the much-anticipated Grande 30M, making its world premiere and the first new Azimut model designed in collaboration with m2atelier.

A feature wall will appear across all m2atelier projects for Azimut. On the Trideck, the saloon has an ‘unveiling wall’ composed of vertical slats that can slide to reveal a large TV screen. Other highlights on the main deck include the full-beam owner’s suite, while the upper-deck skylounge can be adapted from a lounge to a media room or an indoor dining area due to a versatile, high-low table.

‘Barefoot luxury’ is the theme of m2atelier’s designs for Azimut, which has described the new interiors as “a seamless fusion of sophistication and informality, tailored for a new wave of contemporary yacht owners”. However, according to m2atelier, light is the unifying language of this aesthetic philosophy, guiding perception and revealing depth.

“For us, light is not an accessory. It’s the silent force that gives form to space, reveals the textures of materials, and brings emotional depth to the onboard experience,” Radovic and Bonelli stated.

“On the Grande Trideck, light becomes the invisible thread that connects every environment, accentuating the fluidity of the layout and giving each area a distinct atmosphere. We did not want to decorate with light; we wanted it to sculpt. On the Grande Trideck, light becomes architecture.”

The interior language is warm and measured, stripped-back yet refined, while materials are few but rich in texture. Straight lines dominate, with horizontal and vertical lines expanding the sense of space, and diagonals introducing a feeling of welcome and intimacy.

The yacht also features custom-made pieces crafted by Giorgetti following exclusive designs by m2atelier. Aside from the interior, changes to the new Trideck include the foredeck, which has a new recessed pool with integrated chaise longue and a pivoting sunpad backrest.

Federico Lantero, Azimut’s Head of Product Design, said: “What we wanted to achieve with m2atelier was an interior vision where every element sparks emotional resonance. It goes beyond elegance. It’s about crafting an atmosphere that evolves with those who experience it, offering an inviting calm paired with confident sophistication. The Grande Trideck embodies this idea: a superyacht not just to live but to feel.”
