Prestige M48 proving popular in Asia-Pacific

Asia Yachting has announced multiple sales of the French builder’s first multihull motor yacht, which makes its Asia-Pacific debut in May.

Asia Yachting has secured three sales of the Prestige M48, whose world premiere in 2022 marked the French builder’s entry into the multihull motor yacht sector. The exclusive Hong Kong dealer for Prestige, Asia Yachting announced that the three sales have been made in the past year, further good news after Groupe Beneteau announced a record-breaking financial year in 2023.
Brokers Jordi Esteve, Vinci Cheung and Brian Leung have each sold a unit of the Prestige M48, reviewed by YACHT STYLE in Issue 71. One of the clients is buying a multihull motor yacht for the first time and was impressed by the 48-footer with a near-20ft beam and full-beam accommodation on the lower deck, the result of innovative naval architecture.

“The owners were especially impressed with the M48’s slender yet towering design,” Asia Yachting stated. “Her sleek and elegant aesthetics blend very well with the practical layout and multiple social spaces, catering to the needs of their family and friends.”
The M48 debuted at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival and was joined the following year by the M8, the 65ft flagship of the M-Line. The new multihull series followed the X-Line (X60, X70) as a major new series for Prestige, which built its reputation on its F-Line flybridge and S-Line sportbridge models.

The Prestige M48 is set to make its Asia-Pacific debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (May 23-26) in Australia, where it’s also scheduled to display at the Sydney International Boat Show (August 1-4).
The M48 is also set to appear at the Prestige Exclusive Days in Japan from July 13-14 before making its Hong Kong debut later in the year.
