Aquila 42 Yacht set for European debut

A world leader in power catamarans, Aquila is staging the European debut of its new 42 Yacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Aquila Power Catamarans has confirmed that it will host the European premiere of its 42 Yacht flybridge model at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12-17), where it will exhibit alongside the 36 Sport outboard cruiser, the brand’s most popular model.
The Aquila 42 Yacht (click for Review) had its world premiere at the Miami International Boat Show in February and is the new entry model for the Yacht series of flybridge inboard models, joining the 44 Yacht, 54 Yacht and flagship 70 Luxury. The 42 Yacht’s appearance at Cannes marks the model’s first major boat show outside of the US.

Yvan Eymieu, Aquila’s International Sales & Distribution Manager, said: “We’re excited to premiere the Aquila 42 Yacht at Cannes Yachting Festival this year. Our team has worked tirelessly to push the boundaries of design, technology and comfort, so we can’t wait to share this design with our global community.”
The 42 Yacht is built to CE Certification Category A and designed by France-based VPLP Design. The yacht features outdoor social areas in the cockpit, flybridge and foredeck, a large saloon and galley, while there are a range of accommodation options in the hulls and bow.
Aquila staff at the Cannes show will also offer information on the brand’s upcoming 47 Molokai, which is set for a world premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 25-29).
