Aquila Power Catamarans has appointed Primus Marine as its dealer in Thailand, where the new dealership also represents Beneteau and Excess from bases in Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok. Founded in 2024, Primus Marine is led by Howard Prime, formerly the Thailand Country Manager for Simpson Marine, where he oversaw the sales of brands including Aquila and Beneteau.
Prime, co-founder and CEO of Primus Marine, has over two decades of maritime experience, including an MCA Master 200GT certification and extensive racing credentials. Resident in Thailand for over five years, Prime has personally delivered many new Aquila boats to their owners, ranging from the 32 Sport to 54 Yacht.
“It is tremendously exciting to be partnering with Aquila for sales and aftersales across Thailand,” Prime said. “Thailand is a top global location for the Aquila brand to continue to flourish, with some of the best cruising grounds in the world.”

As well as announcing Primus Marine as its dealer in Thailand, Aquila announced Selestiboat as its dealer in France.
“These new partnerships are part of our ongoing global growth strategy,” said Nick Harvey, Aquila’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Each dealer brings deep regional expertise and an intimate understanding of their local markets, ensuring a more personalised experience for boaters worldwide.”
